Ian Wright MBA Distinction
Director
Building on his personal property experience, and previous business skills, Ian further developed his property management skills during 6 years with HG Livingstone Ltd, a specialist shopping centre and property management company. His initial role with the firm was as Centre Manager for a multiple owner shopping centre, during which he played a key role in turning the centre around.
Ian was soon promoted to the role in the company as Assistant North Island Manager where he played a senior role within the company during a period where it underwent solid growth.
In 2005, Ian formed his own property management company, Praesto Property Ltd. Since its incorporation, the company has grown its property management portfolio significantly. Its current team of four, manages a variety of commercial, industrial and retail properties throughout New Zealand.
Tony Turner BBus
Property Manager
Tony has more than twelve years property experience having worked for major Australian property companies Savills, AMP Capital Investors and Dexus Property Group.
In recent employment positions with Dexus Tony was Centre manager for Smithfield Shopping Centre in Cairns (120 specialty stores, 4 majors), Plumpton Market Place, Sydney (50 specialty stores, 2 majors) and The Plaza Shopping Centre, Whangaparaoa (45 specialty stores, 4 majors).
Tony’s also has extensive shopping centre marketing experience including the redevelopments of DeepWater Plaza ($AU30m) and Capalaba Central (AU$100m). Tony also worked as an assistant marketing manager at the AMP owned Macquarie Centre (120,000m2).
Tony today takes responsibility for the bulk of our company’s day to day property management functions and has developed considerable knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the management of strip retail across Auckland.

Dawn Wright BCom CA
Financial Controller
Dawn leads the accounting team at Praesto Property Limited. Dawn’s previous accounting experience is drawn from a variety of roles she held at Fletcher Challenge Limited (in 2000 the company recorded operating revenue of NZ$7.9 billion and had an asset base of over NZ$16.4 billion) between 1992 and 2002, including Project Accountant for a $300m construction project, Corporate Accountant Treasury and Group Accountant for the company.
As Corporate Accountant, Dawn's responsibilities included preparation of statutory accounts, budgets and completion of monthly board reports.
Her role as a group accountant involved the preparation of the external financial reporting requirements for Fletcher Challenge Limited. This included the Financial & Operating Report, financial information for the annual and half-annual reviews for each Division issued to all shareholders and providing financial information to the New Zealand, Australian and New York Stock Exchanges.
Sarah Koers
Office Manager – Christchurch
Sarah joined a shopping centre management company, HG Livingstone Ltd in May 1986 as secretary to company founder Mr R. Livingstone before moving into the accounts department as a junior accounts clerk, maintaining debtors and creditors for the company’s extensive residential property management portfolio. During Sarah’s 19 years at the company, she was responsible for the accounting administration of various shopping centres throughout New Zealand, commercial and office buildings, and the leasing administration of a multi storey carpark building in Christchurch.
Sarah joined Praesto Property in June 2006. Her primary roles are accounts administration and office management.
